I won, but it was a very close game.

I'm quite sure he tried to cheat.

He kept distracting me with his wild tales of the scribes in his abbey, from back when he was alive. Apparently, they should have been writing histories, but often they had cellar parties instead.

That certainly would be distracting. Not that it matters, as whoever won, you would be the one being squirted.
